One piece of advice before you register
Register the domain in your own name or your company's, not in the name of the agency building your site. It seems like a detail right up until the day you want to change supplier and discover that the address you sent all your customers to does not belong to you.

- Does it check .ro domains?
- Yes, and this is the part most international tools get wrong. The .ro registry does not publish the modern service (RDAP) that other extensions use, so many tools receive no answer and display that as “available”. Here the .ro question goes directly to RoTLD.
- If it says available, is it definitely available?
- The answer comes from that extension's official registry, so yes, at the moment you checked. But an available domain can be registered by someone else at any point, including between checking and registering. If the name matters, register it quickly.
- What does “cannot be checked” mean?
- That the registry for that extension did not answer in time. It means neither available nor taken. I chose to say so plainly rather than guess, because guessing “available” wrongly would cost you time and money.
- Can you register the domain for me?
- I do not sell domains, but if we work together on the site I will help you register it in your own name with a decent registrar. What matters is that the domain is yours, not your web company's.
